To color in a whole box we must go right to the edges, but not over them, to make the box full. And so it is in life that we must color in to the rim of the Lord's will, fully, without going outside of it, in order to fulfill it.

Patience is an attribute best learned slowly, because if not learned slowly then it is not learned at all.

We need the desolation because in desolation we learn dependence; we need the dependence because in it we learn to trust, which in turn births faith, if we so choose. With faith increasing we have joy increasing because we have Christ increasing.

Do not look at the stone (1), look at the Cross, the empty Cross.

(1) Mark 16:4, New Living Translation  "they looked up and saw"(2).  In other words, they were looking down at the impossible and not up at the One who makes impossibilities possible.

CRIMSON'S CLOTH

There in my mind's eye was the most beautiful foot I had ever seen with the most perfect five little toes all lined up. The foot was naked having pools of Blood gathering in the toe's nails. I could see the pools taking in much Blood and giving away much Blood for a long time, causing me to grieve for their owner, Who I thought must be in His final moments. My laments continued until I saw God's hand break through from Heaven and wipe away the Blood with a white cloth. After each wipe the cloth would remain as pure as freshly fallen snow, though the Blood was crimson red. Then I knew, like Christ, we too suffer much, but when God's power comes the stain of this world gives way to purity.
